Sakaja To Beat Igathe If Elections Were Held Today, Infotrack Polls Shows

Johnson Sakaja is the most popular candidate In Nairobi gubernatorial race with 39 percent popularity while Polycarp Igathe follows him with 33 percent popularity. The poll shows that Sakaja has the best chance of winning the race of governor of Nairobi if voting were to take place right now.

However Sakaja's fate will be determined on Friday when the high court will make final ruling on Sakaja's degree certificate authenticity. Sakaja has been put on trial to prove the authenticity of his degree certificate from Teams university.

Sakaja had also claimed he has a actuarial science degree from Nairobi university before he came clean and confessed that he dropped out university due to school fees and hence he didn't finish his degree.

The poll also revealed that Edwin Sifuna of ODM is the most popular candidate in Nairobi senator seat with 44 percent while Margret wanjiru of UDA is far behind with only 12 percent.
