"We Do Have Numbers" Azimio Legislator Confident They Will Win The Speaker Seats In Both Houses

In the fight for control of both Houses leaders in both Kenya Kwanza camp continues to streams to Parliament building ahead of busy day. The elected MPs and Woman Representative will be sworn and later, elect Speaker of National Assembly.

Addressing the media in Parliament, Ruth Odinga says she is confident that Azimio- One Kenya will scoop Speaker seats in both Houses. Responding wether they have enough numbers, she insisted that coalition is well prepared to win, and have numbers.

"We do have the numbers since i believe we are the majority and we are going to get speaker position of both Houses." Kisumu Woman Representative Ruth Odinga started.

Adding to her submission, Ruth Odinga said they have competent people who have served in speaker capacity before and that, will help Azimio- One Kenya candidates big.

"We have competent people who have served before that is Kenneth Marende and Farah Maalim. In my view they are just and right people to be chosen." She added

Azimio- One Kenya has front Kenneth Marende and Farah Maalim for speaker and deputy speaker respectively. In Senate Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka represents Azimio.

They will battle out with Bungoma Senator elect Moses Wetangula and Gladys Boss Shollei for speaker and deputy speaker at National Assembly. In Senate, Kenya Kwanza has fronted Kilifi outgoing Governor Amason Kingi.
