"You Can't Just Sit And Wait To Be Annointed" Kalonzo's Ally Cautions Him

Ahead of the elections in 2027, the former vice president Kalonzo Musyoka is concerned because speculations are continuing to spread within his camp, and now his leaders continue to hold divergent viewpoints. However, a close associate of his has informed him that he cannot wait for somebody to anoint him while he is in the thick of betrayal from Raila' s regiment and sit about doing nothing.

According to the Nation Newspaper, a subset of Wiper officials had allegedly conveyed warnings suggesting that they would cause unrest within the Azimio La Umoja Coalition in the event that Odinga would not endorse Kalonzo for the elections that will take place in 2027.

It would appear that Kitui senator Enoch Wambua has stated that they truly do not want to provoke any dispute with the Azimio coalition and that they only want to welcome a serious reflection of where they are headed in order to get ready for 2027. However, Chirau Ali Makwere, the chairman of the Wiper party, has responded to the call by claiming that the move the Wiper party is making is nothing more than a hoax.

Speaking from his experience as a veteran politician, he asserts that no one can simply sit and wait to be endorsed or anointed; instead, they must demonstrate that they have a following that extends beyond their country' s borders. Raila Odinga was speaking in an interview when he revealed that there are people who want him to retire from active politics.

This was a move that he did not take well, as he stated that it is too early to reveal whether he will run for president in 2027 or will support someone else. This comes as a result of a number of Wiper leaders making a plea for the previous prime minister to publicly support Kalonzo Musyoka' s candidacy for president in the upcoming elections in 2027 so that they can have an early start on making preparations.
