Junet Mohammed reveals Western ANC legislator behind Mumias Sugar woes during a funeral in Kakamega

Mumias Sugar company is one of the biggest companies in Western region. The region has faced numerous challenges leading to it's poor production. National government has been trying to revive the mega company which creates joy opportunities to region residents.

Today Suna East legislator Junet Mohammed broke his silence and revealed the leaders behind Mumias Sugar company woes. He was speaking today in Kakamega county during the burial ceremony of the late Dorcas Wamaya who is mother to Mumias West legislator Johnson Naicca.

The Legislator said that the problem of Mumias Sugar company is leaders who have turned up to brokers. He said that Butere member of parliament Hon. Nicholas Tindi Mwale is one of the leaders behind Mumias Sugar woes.

The vocal legislator revealed that Butere member of parliament protested the revival of Mumias Sugar company. He said that Butere legislator was one of the leaders who opposed the motion of revival of Mumias Sugar company in parliament.

Mr. Junet Mohammed assured Western people that the former prime minister Raila Odinga will revive the company once elected as the next president. He urged Western people to fully support and back the former prime minister presidential bid.

The burial ceremony was attended by several leaders from the region led by Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya. ODM party leader Raila Odinga was also present.
