Kenya Kwanza Alliance principal and ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has issued a statement alleging that there is a plan to disrupt the August elections.
While speaking in Murang'a County, Mudavadi has stated that they have started noticing that former IEBC CEO will be used to conflict with Chebukati.
"Mimi nataka niseme hivi, tumeanza kuona dalili and I want the people who follow this the IEBC is responsible for managing a free and fair election. Lakini tumeanza kuona dalili kwamba yule jamaa ambaye alikuwa CEO akisumbuana na Chebukati tunaanza kuona dalili nikama mtu amemueka pahali azidi kusumbuana na Chebukati," said Musalia Mudavadi.
He then went on to add that IEBC is the one to manage elections but not the Communications Authority of Kenya which is led by Ezra Chiloba.
"We want to make it clear that the institution that runs the election is the IEBC and not the CAK ambayo inalinda mambo ya airwaves. Kwa hatutaki watu waanze kuchochea so that we bring conflict between IEBC and the communications authority," added Musalia Mudavadi.
