The former prime minister Raila Odinga has now dealt a huge blow following his plans on the mass action. This is after reports states that a Luo-Nyanza leaders accompanied by John Obado has opposed the prime minister Raila Odinga's move to mass action.

According to the leader, they have been always supported Raila Odinga's move but eventually they have not benefited from it. It is time to say enough is enough and go for things that will see the country progressing.
As reported by the source, the former Nyatike legislator Edick Omondi Anyanga, former Kisumu Senator Fred Outa and former Migori Governor Okoth Obado say there are many ways of solving the country’s challenges without sowing the seeds of disunity.

The former leaders say the call for mass action will put the youth at risk of ugly confrontations with police. They said youth need economic empowerment, not political unrest.
The leaders were speaking at God Kwer village in Suna West sub-County while distributing relief food to residents who have been affected by the prevailing famine and drought.
