William Ruto's Kericho Ally Panic After Being Locked Out of 2022 Race

Famous Kericho county ward representative has been left desperate by IEBC. This is after the chair Wafula Chebukati said the implementation of the law amended in 2017 will take effect from next year. The law bars all aspirants without a university degree from vying for any elective post. The representative is a diploma holder.

Causing panic among those with the degree, Chebukati said they are only following the law."We follow the law and the Election Act clearly state that all candidate in the six elective positions must have a university degree to able to qualify to run for office," said Chebukati.

The MCA is a die hard supporter of deputy president William Ruto. He was among the only MCA's who voted against the BBI in a bid to show support for the DP. He is also known for his fierce opposition of the current governor and his administration said that, criticism from people were hurting him. Posing in a library trying to catch up with time, he noted that knowledge was power. His supporters encouraged him to study now so that he could come back in 2027.

"Knowledge is Power, Power provides Information; Information leads to Education, Education breeds Wisdom; Wisdom is Liberation.Otherwise more Knowledge is more Power my guys," Chirchir said .
