William Ruto is one of the most popular politicians in Kenya and the fact that he wants to become the next president of Kenya come 2022, he has made sure he has risen through the political and leadership milage to become one of the most popular politicians in the country.
Ruto began his leadership journey while in high school where he was the Hostels captain, Christian Union vice Chairman, debating club secretary and a member of the volleyball team. He was a students leader at the University level and after school, he joined the famous YK92 and later become Cyrus Jirongo Point man. He become A Member of Parliament for Eldoret North, a cabinet Minister for agriculture and higher education in the Kibaki Era, a member of the Pentagon team that formed a coalition to remove President Kibaki in power, a Deputy president under the devolved constitution and now an aspiring head of state in 2022 general elections.
