Vocal DP Ruto Ally Speaks as President Uhuru Allegedly Quits Azimio Campaigns

As reported in one of the local dailies, president Jubilee party leader and president of the republic of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta will not be part of the Azimio la Umoja campaign team.

This has created mixed reactions especially in Kenya Kwanza Alliance with most of the Ruto allies divided on whether it is a tactical move or the president is just fed up with the politics ahead of the August general elections.

However, according to the vocal Kimilili member of parliament Didmus Barasa who is one of the top allies to the deputy president William, the move by president Uhuru Kenyatta is an assurance that he has started being keen.

He also said that perhaps the president has sensed difficulties in selling the former prime minister Raila Odinga to the people of Kenya adding that the need to 'retire with him' honorably after the August general elections.

"Let him continue quiting the battle he can't win. He has noted that selling Raila Odinga to Kenyans is like selling pork in the United Arabs Emirate," Barasa said.
