The former Nairobi county Governor,Mike Mbuvi Sonko, is one of the socialite and media influencer. Sonko is well known for exposing bad things and characters of people within the society.
Taking into account of his Facebook page,Mike Sonko shared a photo with his friends (Ann Kananu and Millicent Omanga). Sonko said that the two of his friends stopped taking alcoholic drinks in the new year. He was keen to note that they were ushered into salvation where they will join him to be beverage takers only.
"Hawa wameokoka nakukuwa watu wa Chai kama mimi. Welcome to the club ya Chai." Sonko posted.

Sonko had stated earlier that he had given up on alcohol after joining President William Ruto's camp who is a renowned Christian. This was a move that was going to help him make good decisions as a leader in the country.
Sonko revelation sparked some mixed reactions from Kenyans.
