Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Richard Ngatia has dismissed Deputy President William Ruto's vote hunt in Nairobi as a waste of time and resources.
Ngatia who is the president of the Kenya Chambers and Industry has said that Nairobi is firmly behind the Azimio La Umoja movement led by ODM leader Raila Odinga.
He has called on Nairobi residents to wait for the right direction from Mr. Odinga.
" Nairobi is Baba's bedroom and the people should know very well that Baba has the final bullet on how we will vote," Ngatia said.
Ngatia said this on Wednesday when he met various youths and women groups.
He called on non registered Nairobi voters to turn up and register.He said that it is possible for Nairobi to register atleast 250,000 new voters.
"Let us come out in large numbers and register so that we can make a difference,"Ngatia added.
Ngatia has emerged as the frontliner in the battle for the Azimio La Umoja ticket in Nairobi
