The Deputy President Dr. William Ruto has today 1st December returned to Kamba land's in hurt for the 2022 Presidential votes. The DP is camping in Machakos County where he is engaging residents who have come out in large numbers to receive him while at the same time drumming up the support of his 'Bottom Up' economic model. Ruto's tour to Machakos will come to an end tomorrow after touring the Yatta and Masinga Constituencies.
The DP has so far managed to engage the resident's of Kiatuni, Kaloleni, Mutituni and the Machakos Town, all in Machakos Town Constituency.
At Machakos, the DP made a big surprise to the hustlers of Machakos Town after he gifted them Ksh 1.5 millions which will go hand in boosting their businesses.
"Mahustlers wa Machakos Town wamesema Kwa Sababu Mimi si mtu ya kitendawili. Si mnajua ivyo. Mimi ni mtu ya kujipanga. So nitamwachia uyu...shilllingi millioni moja na nusu ya mahustler wa apa hii Machakos Town", the DP said.
According to the DP, he will give the money to the Machakos Town MP Victor Munyaka who will come to distribute them to the Machakos Hutslers on Friday this week.
