Orange Democratic party leader Honorable Raila Odinga is among a few people who are targeting to replace president Kenyatta when he retires. The president will be out of office come 2022 and political activities are intensifying as days goes by.
Deputy president William Ruto is the. Other potential leader who is targeting the top seat in the country. In 2013, he made a deal with president Kenyatta to serve as his deputy for ten years then replace him as president for another ten years. Something that might be a little hard to happen with introduction of building bridges initiative.
Well, blogger Robert Alai has sparked reaction online after claiming that Raila will be president come 2022 whether he vies or not. Well, time will tell if in deed it will happen that way come next election.
Here are some reactions.
"This confidence from Raila's supporters has been there for all this time. What makes me smile is that much words not translated into action. Because the leader concerned is a business man not interested in leadership" posted Jack.
"How will he win if he don't vie? Do you remember what he told us during the repeat of 2017 post Maraga rulling election? Be real kindly" Posted Ken.
"Do you want to paint the good Baba to be party to an election MALPRACTICE? Not vying and winning are inversely proportional" posted Mike.
