There is no doubt that the Amani National Coalition made it clear that they were going to invite their friends but not their competitors to the conventions held at Bomas.
With That said, Ruto's attendance at the event came as a surprise to both the ANC party and Kenyans at large. Moreover, Mudavadi's co-principals at One Kenya Alliance are among the key leaders lined up for the event despite being endorsed by their respective party for the presidential race.These are some of the things that were spoken by Johnson Sakaja (Nairobi's Senator) at the 'Earthquake' event at Bomas:
1. He asked Kenyans not to allow anyone to discriminate their democracy and Diminish their rights
2. Sakaja also opened up on why he Supports Musalia Mudavadi though he is a member of the Jubilee party.These are some of the descriptions that he showered The ANC party leader with:
a. He described Musalia as a leader who is honest and humble.
b. Musalia fights for Clean politics
c. He is Friendly and open to working with any individual.
