The fresh allegations have threatened the BBI process in the country. The new revelation that 13 county assemblies approved the wrong Bill and that there are discrepancies between the Senate and the National Assembly Bills. The BBI promoters now feel that they are being sabotaged and have told the DCI, Kinoti to investigate the matter.
They want the DCI to unveil what happened between IEBC, the assembly debates and the communication that was to be done to the parliament. Paul Mwangi, the BBI task force joint secretary has claimed that someone was involved in criminality and that they should be ousted.
The issues facing the BBI document have made political camps pick a fight with Chebukati. Recently, Alai claimed that, Wafula Chebukati should be arrested and charged. He is a danger to the stability of the country.Working with evil gangs, he intentionally sent wrong bills to the county assemblies, he added.
This issue of fake BBI bill sent to county Assemblies should be immediately investigated and if confirmed to be true then the whole process should be declared a nullity, claimed Omanga. Caleb Kositany, stated that, "this would not be the case if the proponents of BBI had been genuine, open & had everyone on board. President Uhuru, just drop this BBI thing, the way you would a hot potato."
"In the past IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati told us election servers were somewhere in France; published elections results and deleted them; gave a new meaning to BBI ( Burning Bridges Initiative) now he has sent the wrong BBI bill to Counties. This is a brilliant MAN."
"In short the Brilliant IEBC Wafula Chebukati is saying he received six verified copies on National Tv and sixteen days later he received 47 copies of what he believed to be BBI amendment Bill and sent it to the Counties. So in short what is Wafula saying?"Asked Dennis Onsarigo.
