The Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has revealed that the government of president William Ruto will make very painful decisions given the harsh economic times. The government is intending to close some Parastatals unless they justify of their existence. This is geared towards removing redundancy and duplication of services in government offices.

Musalia Mudavadi has made it known that challenges are there and they are extremely immense given the huge economic debts. Mudavadi is clear that some of the Parastatals which will fail to justify of their value will be closed.
Musalia Mudavadi is shocked that the Azimio coalition failed the country during the handshake period. This is majorly due to the huge debts which were borrowed yet ended up in people's pockets.
President Ruto is expected to make ruthless changes on the economy and this informs the decision to close certain Parastatals which have failed to prove of their existence. It's a fact that challenges of economy is visible but it's an issue that has the potential to see massive job losses as part of austerity measures.
