As the 2022 general election nears, Leaders are busy selling their candidature all over the country. Some have already put clear their political ambitions and agendas.
Martha Karua, former long-standing member of parliament for the Gichugu Constituency was and also an advocate for social justice was in the ballot during 2013 general election but was defeated. She also served as a minister of justice until resigning from that position in April 2009.
Recently her biggest achievement is leading 'Linda Katiba' in stopping the Building Bridges Iniative, BBI in court. The Narc party leader has also been championing for Mount Kenya unity. In her recent words on Twitter, Martha Karua said this nation needs courage similar to the one exhibited by the high court and Court of Appeal in the BBI judgement from all public servants and professionals.
