There is joy among the residents of the Vihiga constituency in Vihiga County as 9 locations are set to be connected to Electricity courtesy of the area Member Of Parliament Hon Ernest Kagesi Kivai.
According to communication made on the MP's official Facebook account moments ago, the Kenya Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation - Kenya formerly REA Engineers have today surveyed areas that had been earmarked for Electrification within the Constituency.
"This being the first phase of the Electrification program, the following areas have been captured for connectivity.
1 Ehedwe - Zivi
2 Kegendilova - Chavwali
3. Kedohi - Losoma
4. Busamo area
6. Inavi Health Facility
7. Inyanza - Liavola
8. Liamidi - Muyundi
9. Got Kabindi - Isaku
This is a green light to my efforts on ensuring that we have maximum utilization of the transformers within the constituency." Ernest Kagesi
With this connectivity going down, then the constituents will have a good opportunity to carry out activities that require electric power.
