Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has revealed part of her personal life to Kenyans. Speaking to NTV Kenya, the second term Kirinyaga governor revealed that her personal life is completely different from her political life.
Waiguru a close ally to president Ruto revealed that she finally got a political rest for the first time in three years with most of her time being dedicated to the just concluded elections.
She revealed that during the Christmas holiday, she and her family took an alone time to bond reflecting on how the year has been.
Further, the county boss revealed that when away from camera’s her close allies rarely refers to her as Waiguru. She revealed that majority of her friends call her Hunny, a nickname she picked during her university years.
Anne Waiguru: My friends don't call me 'Waiguru', my nickname is 'hunny'.
Waiguru also stated that in terms of her political career, she is planning to run for a higher office in the future.
