Kenyans have attacked Kitui governor Charity Ngilu after she posted this on her official Facebook page about deputy president William Samoei Ruto.

We will not allow him to come to Ukambani and insult our leader HE Kalonzo Musyoka like he did in meru with HE. Governor Kiraitu Murungi while we watch. It just won’t happen again,"

Ngilu is a staunch supporter of the opposition leader Raila Odinga's presidential bid come 2022.

She has promised to campaign for him untill he clinches the presidency.

Wycliff Wanyama wrote "You are planting words in Ruto's mouth. He never said he left any seat for Kalonzo or any position. He said he left kalonzo to push Raila,"

Martin Kiogora wrote "Yours is vendetta against WSR, for you unfortunately, he is the incoming President. I wish to remind you that we will not watch as you incite Kenyans against the Deputy President the way you incited them to torch lorries perceived to be owned by a Kikuyu. You won't be allowed to zone any area not even Kitui,'
