The Kenyan political arena rarely admits new politicians. This is seconded by the fact that many incumbent politicians come from political families or are related to powerful politicians in one way or another.
Though not known to many, there are two Rift Valley region political rivals who are related. This includes Baringo Senator Gideon Moi and Soy Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany.
Well, Caleb Kositany is an ardent supporter of Deputy President William Ruto and amongst the leading Tangatanga loyalist whereas on the other hand, Gideon Moi and Deputy President William Ruto are like light and darkness
About their relationship, Gideon Moi's real sister Jennifer Moi was married to the real brother of Caleb Kositany, Stephen Kositany. This is despite the fact that former President Daniel Toroitich arap Moi was against this marriage.
Stephen Kositany lived with Jennifer Moi for more that 15 years before Stephen died mysteriously following a road accident leaving Jennifer Moi with 3 children. Having that Caleb Kositany and Gideon Moi are brothers in law, one might have thought that they were political friends which is not the case.
Caleb Kositany was recently axed as the Jubilee Party Deputy Secretary General for being allied to Deputy President William Ruto thus showing the level of loyalty
