Deputy president William Ruto has massive influence in Mount Kenya and Rift valley. Azimio La Umoja has massive influence in Nyanza, Coast and western region. Deputy president William Ruto picked Mathira member of parliament Rigathi Gachagua as his preferred running mate. Raila Odinga picked Nark Kenya leader as his running mate.
