George Natembeya's bid has today gotten a huge boost after his Tuesday morning meeting led led to his endorsement. The meeting which was held in Kitale saw his bid receive the support of some of the traders who run businesses in the area and its environs ahead of the polls.
According to a post by Natembeya on his social media, the meeting today saw him meet up with the Kikuyu community who reside in the area and who play a key role on who they will vote in the coming elections as governor of the area .
The team unanimously agreed to support his bid to become the next governor. Natembeya will be battling itcout with Chris Wamalwa of Kenya Kwanza who has also been gearing up to win the seat after holding a series of rallies in the area ahead of the August polls .
