William Ruto is among the hopefuls who are expected to try their shots in 2022 presidential ring. To make his bid practical, he needs support and this he is determinedly seeking.
Hitherto, he is staking on his Bottom-Up economic model and the much publicized Hustlers vs Dynasty narrative which has resonated well with the country's downtrodden.
Of political catalysts Ruto's recruitment team has lived convincing is Ford Kenya chairman Moses Wetangula. The legislator is currently part of One Kenya Alliance (OKA) which brings together Gideon Moi of KANU, Musalia Mudavadi of ANC and Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper Party.
The quartets met on Tuesday to chant way for their political future and various resolutions were made. Wetangula revealed he is more than willing to work with Raila Odinga. His declaration comes as a blow to the man from Sugoi who has lived netting him.
Moses is among the bigwigs who have a share in Western Kenya region and for presidential hopefuls to make inroads and earn the region's support, grassroot leaders needs a courting but as things are, Ruto is set for a heartbreak.
