Raila Odinga and Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka may work together in the 2019 general elections, according to Orange Democratic Movement secretary-general Edwin Sifuna.
The Nairobi Senatorial aspirant claimed in an exclusive interview with local media that the party is open to negotiations with anyone who supports Raila Odinga's ideas. When asked if the two leaders are now talking, the secretary-general responded that it is above his pay grade and that he is unable to comment; nonetheless, he assured that everything will be revealed in the near future.
Sifuna claimed that the candidate Azimio La Umoja will choose as Raila's running mate is also beyond his pay and is up to Raila's discretion. He claimed that the leader of the Orange Democratic Movement will analyze the political scene before making a final decision on who will add value to him in the contest to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.
