One Kenya Alliance led by Mose Wetangula of Ford_kenya, Wickliffe Mudavadi of ANC, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper party today took their campaigns to Nguu Masumba ward to campaign for wiper Democratic movement candidate Eshio Mwaira.
The by election is set to take place in the 14 of October 2021 and has attracted three main candidates that is Eshio Mwaiwa of Wiper, Daniel Musau of United Democratic Alliance and Timothi Maneno an independent candidate. Therefore today the OKA principals took their campaigns in the region a head of the election to popularise Kalonzo's candidate in the region.
However at some point things never went well for the trio as the residents heckled, humiliated the principals in Kalonzo's perceived stronghold. Residents in the video below were heard chanting Timothi's Maneno's name and throwing their hands into the air as if they are armed to the teath. It's not yet clear whether they were hired by specific politician or just there love for hon Maneno.
This was a big share for the presidential hopefuls to campaign for an MCA which intern leads to humiliation in one of their stronghold. It's a matter of time to tell whether Kalonzo still controls ukambani region.
