ODM MP Reveals How He Was Influenced to Dump Mudavadi After His Earthquake Announcement

On Thursday, December 8th, president William Ruto met with Western leaders. The meeting brought together elected leaders across the political divide. Among the Azimio politicians who attended the meeting include; Vihiga Governor Wilberforce Otichilo, Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya and Kakamega Governor Fernandez Barasa. The gathering took place at the Kakamega State Lodge.

Butere member of parliament, Tindi Mwale, said that he was a staunch supporter of Musalia Mudavadi until he made the earthquake announcement during the ANC party NDC.

Mwale stated that after Mudavadi's decision to join William Ruto, he was approached by Lurambi MP Bishop Titus Khamala who warned him that if they were not careful, they would lose their seats if they continued following Mudavadi.

"Bishop Khamala came to my house and told me that this earthquake announcement would end our careers if we were not careful. Immediately we went to Francis Atwoli's home and that's how I ended up in Azimio," disclosed Hon Mwale.

The lawmaker said that if it was not for the influence of Titus Khamala, he would not have left Mudavadi and probably he would be in Kenya Kwanza.

The other leaders who were present from Western Kenya pledged to collaborate with the president and the National Government to ensure that the people of the region benefit with development projects.
