Many Kenyans were waiting for President Uhuru Kenyatta to talk about the dawn to dusk cufew. The Head of State did a good thing and lifted the curfew. Many Kenyans rushed online in order to comment on the good news that they received.
Majority of them said that they are very happy with what the President did because the curfew was becoming more of a burden to Kenyans as opposed to a blessing. They added that it was not being implemented to achieve its intended purpose.
Some Kenyans also added that the curfew has killed very many people instead of protecting them. They regarded the news as a very good one to them. They also added that the lifting of curfew will now open up the economy and many people will now make some decent living.
People will now be able to sell their items and do other businesses without being afraid of being caught by the police. Other people also said that they will always remember the President for hearing their cry and removing the curfew which was hindering many things.
Other people also added that they were wondering how the curfew was still operational despite the fact that there are political gatherings which are going on.
