“Are You Speaking on Behalf of Uhuru, Has He Send You to Me,” DP Ruto Reacts During Live Interview

Deputy President William Ruto has fired at the NASA principals for their continued disturbance at President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying Orange Democratic Movement Leader Raila Odinga came into the government in 2018 through the handshake so that he could get support from Uhuru to fight him in the 2022 polls.

While speaking on Radio Jambo on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 DP Ruto said the NASA team is fighting the Kenyan constitution so that it can favour them in the looming 2022 general elections, adding that he has been humiliated by Uhuru and other political leaders.

“From 2013, President Uhuru and I did a lot to Kenyans, supplying electricity… but in 2018 things chased because of the handshake. They started fighting anyone supporting DP Ruto, calling them thieves… what have we done in the last four years, it’s just reggae and the BBI,”

“I have a problem with our friends from NASA, Uhuru has helped them and instead of helping us help Kenyans, they have come to tell them president that they need to change the constitution and they see things are not going well so they are still disturbing the president,” said DP Ruto.

While asked if he was the main cause of division with the head of state, DP Ruto fired back saying he should not be asked other questions that belongs to Uhuru, saying some questions are meant for Uhuru and not him.

“they are almost fighting to go see what Uhuru and I have created, they are after seeing the projects that Uhuru and I created have built. Uhuru and I were elected to serve Kenyans and not serve five men full of greedy, and pride,”

“Are you speaking on behalf of President Uhuru? Has Uhuru send you to me, I am DP Ruto and not Uhuru, if you get an opportunity to interview Uhuru please asked them such questions for now, focus on me,” DP Ruto said.
