The 2022 race has gradually continued gaining momentum as things take new shape ahead of the coming general elections. This happens as we expect some small parties to join big parties and form coalitions. Some parties have already started giving limelight about who they will support. This made Moses Kuria and David Murathe suspect that Mwangi Kiunjuri was going to join his party (The People's Party) with Raila's Azimio La Umoja.
However, in response to circulating claims by David Murathe and Moses Kuria, Kiunjuri said he has not yet decided who he will support between DP Ruto and Raila.
"TSP is not ready to open coalition talks with any party for noW. Some people from Azimio claim that I have entered into talks with them, but I would like to clarify that the party has never had any negotiations with Azimio and neither do we intend to do so, "said Mwangi Kiunjuri.
Mwangi confirmed DP Ruto is their friend but they haven't gone to an extent of discussing coalitions.
