Mombasa Hotelier Sends Heartwarming Message to Nairobians in Lockdown

A Mombasa Hotelier has sent a very heartwarming message to Nairobians who have always flocked the coastal town during Easter. It's the holiday season and since there are no Nairobians allowed out of the City, there's not much tourism business going on in Mombasa.

Chariman of the Kenya Tourism Federation, Mohamed Hirsi, has however urged residents to be calm and ensure that they adhere to the health protocols put in place in order to resume normalcy soon. The local tourism industry has been hurting badly since the onset of the pandemic and many await to see how long it'll take President Uhuru to reopen the country.

Mama Ngina public waterfront, hotels and beaches have always been flooding with people who came from upcountry to enjoy these and other amenities in the Coast. Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru being also part of the counties on lockdown, it means that the entire country is also on lockdown.
