North Rift Powerful Politicians Storm Kesses to Campaign Against MP Mishra

Uasin Gishu-based political heavyweights allied to deputy president William Ruto and his UDA party on Tuesday 5th stormed the larger Kesses constituency to drum up support for their preferred Member of Parliament and governorship candidates.

Led by current governor Jackson Mandago, vocal Women Representative Boss Shollei, Outspoken Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Nairobi county CEC Veska Kangogo, the politicians' main agenda was to campaign against area MP Swarup Mishra and gubernatorial aspirant Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki.

Mishra and Buzeki are contesting on independent party tickets and have been termed by the county politics as rebels for distancing themselves from Ruto who hails from the same county and the UDA party which is now the popular party in the region. This has landed the duo at the receiving end and Ruto's allies have vowed to lock them out even with the huge influence and financial muscles.

The long caravan branded with the UDA's yellow colour traversed various parts of the constituency addressing the residents at various points and centres.

All through the message was constant as the politicians urged residents to vote for firmer county CEC for finance Julius Ruto and Jonathan Bii who are the party's candidates for parliament and governorships respectively and avoid the other two like a plague.

Mishra and Buzeki have however remained firm on their stands saying that they are not at any point going to bow down to the heavy tides which are challenging their political ambitions.
