Suba north lawmaker Millie Odhiambo has reacted to a video shared online of a male member of parliament slapping another female lawmaker. The incident however did not happen in Kenya. The incident actually happened in Senegal as the members of parliament debated on a possible third term for the incumbent president. The male rose from where he was and dashed to the female lawmaker where he slapped her on the cheeks.
There has been a crisis as incumbent president Felix Tsishekedi seeks to extend his reign to a fourth term.Last week, Rwandese president accused Tsishekedi of planning to delay elections in the country and blame it on the Eastern DRC crisis.
"I condemn this in the strongest terms, " Millie finishes. Odhiambo has been a strong defender of the girl child in the country and has fought against those taking advantage of them.Millie Odhiambo wrote on her facebook page.
