Raila Receives Mt Kenya Support after Leaders Defers With Ruto, Reveals What They Want In Government

ODM party leader Raila Odinga has received support from Mt Kenya region after politicians deferred with Ruto's stand against constitution change revealing why the review was important.

Mt Kenya residents led by TSP party leader Mwangi Kiunjuri urged the mourners to elect presidential candidate considering constitution change. Speaking on Saturday, 16 October during burial ceremony, Kiunjuri alleged that it was only through constitution review that all people will be equally represented in the government.

He apparently attacked Deputy President William Ruto to have wrongly advocated against the Building Bridges Initiative without considering it's benefits to local Kenyans.

This is a big win to Raila who has been urging Kenyans to support BBI. However, the bill was nullified by the High Court after it was found to have violated some set laws.

Kiunjuri further noted that Mt Kenya people were underrepresented despite having more votes from the region. He stated that they will support a candidate who has a mind of changing the constitution within the first few months.
