Governor Barchok is one of the influential leaders from Ruto's backyard and he has promised Ruto that he will ensure that he delivers 100% votes to him ahead of August polls. However, he decided to break the silence after one of his supporter commented on his Facebook page and revealed that he has been campaigning for him to retain his seat as the governor. He alleges that he managed to convince 32 girls to vote for him and he will continue with the same spirit until he emerges victorious in the August polls.
Moreover, governor Barchok declared that if everyone managed to do such a thing, he will be the governor of Bomet without facing any challenges. He revealed that he will ensure that he completes all the pending projects before the August polls. Former Governor Ruto has declared that he is ready to reclaim his seat and he will be using his party in August polls.
