Former EACC boss Patrick Lumumba has send a bold message to President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga warning that the country was under threat.
Addressing Ruto and Raila, the former EACC boss said that history will judge the two harshly if chaos were to emerge.
According to Lumumba, Raila should stop public rallies and also cancel the planned mass action warning there was a threat of breaking into chaos.
He says the time is now ripe for the two leaders to demonstrate selflessness and patriotism to prevent chaos.
Kenya Kwanza administration earlier revealed plans to reduce Raila's strength through imposing travel ban to Western countries.
However, Mr Odinga said his planned mass action was provided for in the 2010 Constitution and any nation planning to issue a travel ban against him on that basis is free to do so.
With a few days to the end of Azimio's 14 days ultimatum, Ruto has scoffed at plans by the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition party to hold demonstrations, saying Kenya is governed by the rule of law.
