Dr. William Ruto has on Sundays continued making his maiden visit to various counties for thanksgiving following his recent win as the 5th President of Kenya.
Since his elections as the Head of State, he and his team have visited various counties to thank Kenyans for maintaining peace during the August general elections and also for electing them. Counties that he has so far visited include Nairobi, Kiambu, Murang'a, Bungoma, Kitui, Baringo, etc.
According to available reports that we have now, President William Ruto, Deputy Rigathi Gachagua and his team will on Sunday 4th December, 2022 be gracing the Embu County Interdenominational thanksgiving service at Embu University grounds.
Preparations ahead of the President's maiden tour to Embu County have begun and today Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire met with Church leaders, MPs, and the Embu University representatives for planning that will see the event a success.
Speaking about the visit, Hon. Mbarire has Invited every Embu resident to join them for a Thanksgiving service on Sunday.
"Embu County will host H.E. the President, William Samoei Ruto and the Deputy President, H.E. Hon. Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday, 4th December, 2022 at the University of Embu grounds for a County Inter-Denominational thanks giving Service...I take this opportunity to welcome the residents of Embu County to this important function as we thank God for the peaceful elections that set a benchmark worldwide, the much needed rains that we are experiencing and ask Him for Grace as we embark on service to our people," Part of Hon. Mbarire's statement reads.
