President William Ruto will not meet elected leaders from Kisumu county during his visit. The president is set to retire to the Kisumu state lodge on Friday night after having day long engagements in sister county Homabay. It is said that he won't meet local leaders because it is a tradition. Instead, the president will meet governor Anyang Nyongo where the talks sre expected to dwell on key county concern's.
In contrast, the president will meet local elected leader's in Homabay at the Tom Mboya University where they are expected to table a list of demands regarding development of the region.
The President is set to set foot in three luo Nyanza counties during his visit! Homabay county on Friday for a development tour and meeting with elected leader's, he will then head to Kisumu for a rest on Friday night. On Saturday Ruto will be in Siaya for CS Owalo's homecoming.
