This is after Mwangi took to his Twitter page to 'insult' the female Governor saying that she had done nothing for Kirinyaga County and hence people should never vote for her in the 2022 General Elections.
In response, the vocal Governor warned Boniface Mwangi not to use her to get his fundings from foreign government. It is worth mentioning that Boniface Mwangi came to the limelight in the 2007/08 Post Election Violence when he sold pictures and images of the victims of the war to foreign medias for as high as 85,000 Ksh per photo.
An angry Anne Waiguru cautioned him against insulting the people of Kirinyaga County because they voted for her since they knew she was a development-oriented Leader.
"I usually don't respond to nonsensical posts. @BonifaceMwangi, don't try to use me to get your next trache of fundings. DO NOT insult the people of Kirinyaga. They voted for development that they can now see. So WACHA USHENZI, respect us and our families! Behold. #KirinyagaRising," the governor said.
She then posted images of before and after she took power as Kirinyaga Governor in 2017.

Anne Waiguru was selected as the second best Governor in Kenya in latest results because of her excellent Development Projects in Kirinyaga County.
