President Uhuru Kenyatta engaged several leaders from Mt Kenya region in a bid to endorse Raila Odinga ahead of the 2022 polls and also to arrange new political strategies as he revealed that Mudavadi disappointed him and decide to join DP Ruto's camp simply because he failed to agree on what they were talking about of 2022 polls. Uhuru declared that his party will endorse Raila Odinga simply because they do not have a presidential candidate after Deputy President Ruto exited the party to form the UDA party.
Mudavadi of ANC party, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper party, Senator Moi of KANU party, and Wetangula of Ford-Kenya party were spotted several times with president Uhuru Kenyatta and he was looking for a way to bring them together after parting ways in NASA coalition. Musalia Mudavadi is facing a lot of troubles as several members ditch his party after declaring that he will work with the chief hustler.
