In the latest changes, Soy Member of Parliament Hon Caleb Kositany has been removed as Party Deputy Secretary General and replaced by his Cherangany counterpart Hon Joshua Kutuny.
Hon Kositany is a staunch supporter of Deputy President Dr. William Ruto and he's affiliated to United Democratic Alliance (UDA). UDA is a factional party of politicians allied to DP William Ruto drumming up his support for 2022 presidency.
The party has always found itself at loggerheads with Tuju-Murathe factions and his removal may have been as a result of defiance to Jubilee leadership. On the other hand, Kutuny is firmly in support of president Uhuru’s handshake and BBI politics.
