
Deputy president William Ruto is currently held up in a meeting with a team of governors and County officials in Nairobi and more specifically the Catholic University of Kenya. The meeting said to be his last engagement before his final rally in Nairobi on Saturday at Nyayo Stadium.

Ruto is signing a chapter with all the 47 counties but in his meeting today only 5 governors were present. The governors present included Governors Mutua from Machakos, from Narok Governor Tunai, Nanok from Turkana, Mandago from Uasin Ngishu and also Governor Kingi who was the latest entry to Kenya Kwanza.
Ruto's aim is to ensure that all the 47 counties get equitable share of resources and development, with the signing of the charter expected to be a binding document that will put his administration to account case he does not fulfil the mandate that will be bestowed to him .
