Broken English Letter Idi Amin Allegedly Wrote To Queen Elizabeth

The people of Uganda will never forgive the atrocities committed by the regime of Id Amin Dada. Let's take a look at his letter to England's monarch, Queen Elizabeth II.Respected Ministers and Members of Parliament, Distinguished Ladies and Gentlemen, and the Most Serene Monarch on Earth: Dear Mr. Queen, Sir, Words cannot express how grateful I am for all you have done for me and my Ugandan coworkers.

Recently, we have all consumed a lot of food. Also, that's plenty. I really value your generosity and the fact that you threw open the windows so we could watch the weather change while we ate lunch. However, before I depart from London's Entebbe airport for Uganda, I'd like to extend an invitation to you, Mr. Queen, to visit your own Uganda so that we may avenge ourselves on you.

When you eat an entire cow, your stomach will be so full that you will stop feeling anything. If you come to my mansion for nothing more than a good night's sleep, I will force you to sleep on top of me so that you can feel the cool breeze.

If I resign, the previous president will remain in office until he dies.

I hate to be a bother, but I wanted you to know that I called. It will be at least one full lunar cycle before I call you again, though. Thank you for allowing me to undress you in front of these geriatric ladies.

A final favor to ask is that the band perform both the British and Ugandan national anthems. I personally and on behalf of the people of Uganda would like to express our deep appreciation for all that you have done.
