Today, Nakuru county governor, Hon. Lee Kinyanjui, welcomed the United Democratic Party running mate with sarcasm. Through his social media pages, Lee has requested the citizens of Nakuru to listen to Gachagwa without bias, and he has also given him the opportunity to elaborate on a few parts of his previous position as Molo district officer. He has charged Gachagwa with explaining to the victims what transpired during his tenure as an officer in the region under Moi. How they will be compensated and his intentions for them in the administration if he wins the August general election and becomes the second-in-command
The governor proceeded by stating that Gachagwa should be given the opportunity to explain the importance of rice and beef in the politics of Mount Kenya if his government wins the general election in August. This comes just a few weeks after Rigathi requested that Ruto provide rice and beef to Mount Kenya residents whenever they visit the Sagana State Lounge. Let's see how things play out in Nakuru prior to Gachagwa's upcoming visit to the region.
