Former prime minister Raila Odinga has officially launched mega water projects at Ndhiwa constituency in Homabay county. Raila Odinga is accompanied by several senior government officials and local leaders
The new Homabay water cluster will serve clean water to residents of Homabay town. This mega project will increase water output in the county from 7000 cubic meters to 8800 cubic meters.
Raila Odinga and water cabinet secretary madam Kariuki launched the mega project on behalf of president Uhuru Kenyatta. The project is constructed by national government in collaboration with Homabay county government.

Several leaders from the county and entire Nyanza region are in attendance. They Homabay senator Moses Kajwang, Homabay women representative Gladys Wanga, Homabay governor Cyprian Awiti, Siaya senator James Orengo among other elected leaders.
Afterwards Raila and his entourage will tour Ndhiwa constituency to launch KMTC build by national government. He will also address several stop overs in the county to popularize his 2022 presidential bid.
