Mike Sonko was a governor for Nairobi. He worn the seat in 2017 through Jubilee Party ticket. He got more votes than the presidential candidate during that general election. He was loved by many nairobians especially the poor people. However, corruption cases damaged his political image. His relationship wit the party boss deteriorated rapidly especially when he started associating himself with the deputy president Honourable William Ruto.
He was finally impeached. Nowadays he has turned to be a blogger. He is giving encouraging words to his followers through Twitter account. Today he has said that this world does not need jealous and hatred. He went ahead to say that once someone dies, you will not be able to tell who was rich, landlord or owned most expensive vehicle when he or she was a live.
He said that people should not fight for what they did not bring to this world when he or she was born. At the same time he said that there is no need of fighting for what you will not take from this world when he or she dies.
This statement has raised eyebrows among Kenyans who are wondering who, what and why Mike Sonko is writing this statement.
