Kenyans today woke very early in the morning at exactly 6 am to vote for their leaders who will lead them for the next five years. They were voting for their fifth President since President Uhuru Kenyatta will be retiring after concluding his two terms in office. Other positions that have been voted for include, gubernatorial, Senatorial, Member of Parliament Woman Representative, and Member of County Assembly.
What everyone is following keenly is the race to State House. So far according to the latest provisional results, Nation DP Ruto is leading with 24,563 votes which are 50.69%. He is being followed closely by the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya leader Raila Amollo Odinga who has 23,629 votes equivalent to 48.76%. Roots Party presidential candidate Professor George Wajackoyah is third with just 169 votes(0.35%) and David Mwaura Waihiga of the Agano Party is last with only 97 votes(0.20%)
