Makueni Governor Kivuta Kibwana has warned Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka of what will happen to him should he fail to join Azimio. Kalonzo Musyoka is currently at crossroads after the departure of Mudavadi and Wetangula from OKA. The standard however reported yesterday that the former VP is considering running for the top seat alongside Jimmy Wanjigi as his running mate.
The Makueni governor has made it clear that should Kalonzo decide to go on his own then the community will e forced to abandon him. He further states that the support that Kalonzo has received over the years has been due to the Kamba community interests. “In the lower Eastern Ukambani region, the governors and other leaders have said that he will be told what to do and if he says he still going up to the end then he will be told you go alone you are not going with the community,” Governor Kivutha said.
He also added that Kalonzo must be ready to do what the leaders of the Kamba community tell him or risk being dethroned as their leader. We are telling him that you will do what we ask you as a community” Kivutha added. Kalonzo is set to make an important announcement about his political future in the coming days as hinted yesterday and time will tell if he will heed the advice
