Chaos Arise At Simba Arati's Meeting, County Staff Injured, Police Hunt For Suspects Involved

After an altercation between two county employees and unidentified individuals at Governor Simba Arati's meeting with a subset of the county's workforce on Tuesday at Gusii Stadium, police in Kisii have begun searching for the latter.

A county employee named Job Oyugi was leaving the stadium after attending the Governor's meeting when he was attacked with kicks and strikes, as detailed in a police complaint obtained by Citizen TV.

In spite of this, Governor Simba Arati has dissociated himself from the criticism, claiming that some County politicians are stirring a mutiny among county employees.

"I appreciate everyone who made it out to show their support; nevertheless, I find it amusing that some have suggested that Simba trapped people in the stadium and even defeated the MCAs in the process. I ran into the slack staff, and nobody said anything like what", Simba Arati said.
