Former prime minister Raila Odinga, and the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance presidential candidate has ruled out the August 9 polls if the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) will not be able to provide a manual register for each and every polling station.
The president Uhuru handshake soulmate has said his rival, deputy President William Ruto has kicked off schemes to rig elections by planning to Import marked ballot papers in an extra ten thousand polling station where two hundred votes will be distributed to each station.
"Our rival has sent him people to scheme for extra printing of ballot papers and they have selected 10,000 polling stations where they will insert 200 marked papers in each, summing up to 2 million extra votes and that is why Mr Chebukati is rejecting to use manual register. We in Azimio have said no manual register, no elections," Raila Odinga has said.
